It must have been a nice home. Wow. 30 is a lot of people! That will be a big dinner!
The more the merrier. It will be (for us) all the children home from school (college; son and daughter) and my step-daughter and her newly wed husband from California! We are planning a lavish gourmet meal (of course!)I hope that I can remember to photograph the table before we serve...:-)Louvregirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15052153326685432260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3525061611057949729.post-81951388253366203252011-11-20T11:36:09.940-08:002011-11-20T11:36:09.940-08:00I like the Casper name and big warty name. :)
We...I like the Casper name and big warty name. :)

We have 30 something family members for Thanksgiving dinner and I took over for my mom in supplying sweet potato casseroles. That's all I have to do. We all bring something so there's no burden on anyone.

My aunt and uncle had a wonderful home in Macon, Georgia and we always had Thanksgiving there, since I was a little girl. My aunt passed away in 2007 and my uncle went to live in an Alzheimer's facility. He passed away last November. The kids kept the house intact, everything in it and the utilities on and so we continued to have Thanksgiving there. It was always so odd - it felt as if someone still lived there. But the house sold this summer, and so we will have the dinner in Fayetteville, Georgia this year at their daughter's home.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13984802196897920610noreply@blogger.com
